What was the highlight of Comfort Hotel Hakata
A bit expensive for what we've got
The position is great and easy to find. The staff was helpful - the pillows were very hard but they were able to provide softer ones.
We booked last minute and the price was very high for what we got - compared to the other hotels we had here in Japan. The hotel feels old, and it's clearly a budget hotel. Breakfast, in particular, was disappointing. Vegetables and fruits were often ice cold and not defrost properly.

Nice quiet, cool room for sleeping and great staff!
I liked having two twin beds so my daughter and I could sleep comfortably. Room temperature was perfect. Nice and cool for sleeping. It was also very quiet. Everything other than the below was fine. The bed was firm the way I like it but my daughter found it too firm so a 50/50 for that. The subway was close by so excellent for getting around. Staff were very helpful and friendly!
The pillow was quite thin so I had to put my jacket underneath to make it thicker. No idea if extra pillows were available though. Sadly there was a funny smell in our bathroom so we had to keep the door closed.
